Jeremy Merton Sisto is an American actor, producer, writer, and director. His roles on NBC and HBO shows include the role of “David” in ER and the recurring role of “Peter” in Scrubs. He was born in California and is the son of two working parents. His father, Michael, is a film producer and his mother, Linda, is a writer.

During his adolescence, Sisto attended Hayfield Montessori School in Louisville, KY, and the Francis W. Parker School. While in high school, he was also involved with local theater companies and acted in the movie Grand Canyon. After graduating from high school, Sisto attended UCLA where he studied film, acting, and producing. He joined the cast of ‘Wildfire’ in 2005 and has since been appearing in a variety of roles.

In his early career, Jeremy Merton Sisto took on roles in various projects and has starred in several films. His breakthrough role on television was Billy Chenowith, the bipolar artist in ‘Six Feet Under.’ The show has garnered three Primetime Emmy Awards and 25 nominations. Other notable performances include “Wicked City,” “Kidnapped,” and ‘Ferdinand.’ In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and playing Bocci, a game similar to Italian bowling.

After his breakthrough role in the critically acclaimed Broadway production “Festen” at the Music Box Theatre, Sisto found a home on NBC’s drama series, Kidnapped. In 2007, he joined the cast of Law & Order as a rogue FBI agent. The following year, he joined the cast of Law & Order. His hobbies include playing guitar and playing the guitar.
